All In The Family; Love & Addiction: Thursday Nights 6:30p – 8:00p Addiction affects the whole family. There are no statistics on the chaos caused by an addict in the family. However, there are ways family members can cope when a loved one suffers from substance dependency. From educating yourself about addiction to setting boundaries, come receive encouragement and comfort in sharing or just listening to the stories of others. This support group is led by people who understand firsthand what you are going through and want to walk with you in the journey you are facing.
Celebrate Recovery: Tuesday Nights 7p – 8:30p The purpose is to focus on God’s healing power through fellowship with others. By working the and the 8 Beatitude Principles, groups open up, share experiences, explore hope and move out of the problem and into the solution. How’s this possible? Our Group Guidelines require anonymity and confidentiality, insuring a safe place to open up and share. We understand. Some of us have been dealt tragic blows in our lives. Our choices caused painful and lingering consequences, leading to guilt, remorse, grief, and shame. We can truly understand and lead others. We’ve overcome addictions and/or other compulsive behaviors. We’re also still “walking the walk” growing daily. This is a program of progress–not perfection.
Rest For The Weary: Sunday Nights 6:00p – 8:00p Are you one of the growing number of people who serves as a caregiver for an aging or chronically ill friend or family member? If so, you probably struggle to meet both their special needs and still find time and resources for yourself. This class provides hope and tangible suggestions on how to stay strong and sane while providing healthy support and love.
